I’ve visited Cornwall in 2 days. We’ve received at work an extra holiday day to use it to do something fun. I have never been to Cornwall so decided to go there. Woke up in the morning at 5 am, got in Bristol to catch the sunrise, and then I’ve driven towards Newquay. I drove alongside the coast, for the scenery. We’ve stopped in Clovelly, a ghost city. You have to pay to visit it. I’m saying it’s a “ghost” city because no one was there when we’ve visited it. But it was so beautiful.
Newquay is famous for surfing but the weather wasn’t the nicest one, as we had strong winds and rain (maybe it was good for the surfers though). Next day we’ve stopped at St. Michael Mount. Such a beautiful place. Went to Eden project, where you definitely need a good few hours to visit. Finally, we’ve quickly stopped in Polperro.
Cornwall is a must to see. Definitely do it when the weather is warmer and nicer (summer time maybe). We’ve been there at the beginning of March and it was so cold.
